This is not an actual specimen. It is a sample entry to show you what the fluorescent willemite looks like at this mine. It fluoresces a deep green colour as you can see in the matrix picture. It is similar in the micro-photographs but for some reason I have not been able to capture that colour with my camera through the microscope. They show as a blue-white colour in my photos. Just so you know, they are actually green! The willemite occurs as both acicular crystals and as sharp hexagonal prisms.
