Well formed red hexagonal prisms with pinacoid terminations and a slightly bevelling of pyramid faces coat the top of this specimen. A thin white-silver coating coats some of the smaller crystals. The Old Yuma Mine has been closed for decades and is now incorporated into a park, making collecting impossible.
