A small light green tourmaline, with an almost flat, rhombohedral termination. From the Stewart Mine in Pala, California. The mine was originally opened to mine lithium near the turn of the 20th century but closed not too long afterwards, it reopened in the 1960's to excavate gem quality elbaite, as well as morganite and kunzite. A nice sample!
