Thomsonite, Stilbite

Cape D'Or, Cumberland County, NS
Size: 3.2x3.3x3.2 cm
Largest crystal size: 8 mm

This matrix has part of a vug on top of it that shows spheres of brown-tinted thomsonite, associated with blades of stilbite. The thomsonite has formed right around some of the stilbite, with some of the stilbite crystals protruding through the thomsonite balls. Interesting!
