A plate of large, well formed, modified tetrahedra of tetrahedrite (wonder how it got its name!?). There are small, calcite crystals draped over the tetrahedrite crystals in some places. As well, some of the tetrahedrite crystals have a thin veneer of tiny chalcopyrite crystals on them. Really nice piece from one of the classic localities! r
