Sphalerite, Siderite

A rather large, partially siderite-coated plate of sphalerite crystals from the famous Eagle Mine. This was one of the main ore minerals that was mined there and many specimens were available at one time. They are rarely seen these days, especially in large size like this. From an old collection.
