This specimen is a diamond drill core that has been sawn in half lengthwise. It is silver ore, and, although is primarily composed of sphalerite and pyrite there are silver rich minerals included in the core. Famous old mine in the remote north of Canada. Famous for silver production, plus polybasite and stephanite crystals.
