This vein material is laced through with crystallized silver, considting of elongated crystals, often in "Herringbone" crystal habit. The white matrix is mostly quartz but some big areas of white calcite. Also some honey-brown sphalerite crystals and small galena crystals embedded in the matrix. Copy of an old label from "The Prospect Hole, Creede, Colorado" accompanies the specimen. Nice piece from an old Colorado mining area.
