This specimen is not available for sale.

The Nipissing Mine was the largest of all the mines in Cobalt and one of the original mines that started in the earliest days of the mining camp. That is because the original claim staker staked four claims instead of the one or less claims that the other prospectors did. There were quite a few veins! This vein section. sawn on one side to reveal the mineralogical textures better, shows rich native silver. Lots of silver on the rough side, as well! Associated with nickeline, the nickel arsenide mineral. Excellent example from this historic mine!
