The Keweenaw Peninsula s famous for crystallized copper and silver specimens. Another thing it is famous for are these nuggets that are poart silver and part copper. Apparently silver can only "disolve in copper to a certain extent and then afterwards forms a discrete phase as native silver with the copper. Here is an example of that immiscibility!
