The adularia-epidote-quartz vug at the top of this epidote-ized basalt has some wonderful, silvery crystals of silver in it. The silver is in clusters of crystals ranging from rough to sharp. All have excellent colour and lustre. The vug is lined with sharp crystals of reddish adularia, typical of these sores of vugs plus lots of sharp, green, epidote crystals. Very nice!
