The Lawson Mine was one of the original mines of the Cobalt Silver Mining Camp. It was famous for high grade silver veins that outcropped right on surface, including the "Silver "sidewalk". Here is a slice of high grade silver from that mine that exhibits well formed dendritic structure of the native silver, which in turn is encased in arsenide mineralization, probably safflorite. A wall-rock inclusion was captured in the vein, as well!
