This is an interesting one. There is a cavity across much of the top of the matrix that is lined with quartz crystals and then in turn heavily speckled with beautiful, elongated, trigonal crystals of siderite. There are small masses of sparkling second generation quartz crystals as well. Under the first generation of quartz cavity is lined with botryoidal goethite, brown-coloured banding, with different hues. Nice specimen from this famous old mining area!
