This portion of an amethyst geode features light coloured amethyst and, especially an epimorph of amethyst after a calcite crystal. At the back of this specimen is a cast of amethyst after a scalenohedral calcite crystal. When you look at the bottom of the specimen you can see a hole that is an exact replica of the original calcite crystal. An epimorph! Very showy, displayable and interesting specimen!
