Quartz is the feature of this specimen and there are several interesting crystals protruding upwards away from the matrix. The crystals are a kind of stepped form showing terminal faces and prism faces alternating to form an odd but nice habit. It appears that the crystal kept wanting to form a scepter but could not muster the energy! There are also johannsenite crystals poking out here and there and some of the specimen is encrusted with white gypsum. Displays handsomely!
