Well formed Japan-law twinned quartz crystals from one of the most prolific localities of such twins. This particular one is flattened and shows two twin members at the required Japan-law axial angle of 84 degrees, 33 minutes. The longest crystal had growth interrupted by a regular quartz crystal . Elegant twin!
