The front of this specimen is covered with green pyromorphite crystals, the kind that the Phoenixville Mine is famous for. The crystals formed in a narrow fissure so many of the crystals are contacted, since they bridged the opening. There are lots of nice crystals on the specimen too, as you can see? A real American classic!
