An extremely lustrous, tight cluster of pyrite crystals from this remote, interesting location. The Port au Port Peninsula, on the west coast of the island of Newfoundland has become a prolific producer of mineral specimens, in recent years. One of the most interesting is the occurrence of pyrite nodules and crystals in the shales of West Bay, Tea Cove, Lead Cove, etc. Some of the host shale attached to indicate where it came from. Looks great!
