A couple of beautiful sulphosalts on this calcite and silver vein fragment. The most obvious are the ruby-red proustite crystals. As well, though there are a few, smaller, yellow xanthoconite crystals on the calcite. Xanthoconite and proustite have the same chemical formula but differing crystal structures. They are similar but different because they are paramorphs.
