The top of this specimen is a open space that is lined with pectolite crystals. The pectolite crystals are actually bundles of crystals in a slim, "bow tie" kind of habit. There are tiny dark crystals on the pectolites that look like dirt, as first but, upon examination, are sharp, green, tabular crystals that I am calling chlorite, although they could be something else. Interesting and nice specimen of pectolite!
