Here's a superb leucite crystal still held in its volcanic matrix. There are a number of these pseudo-trapezohedral crystals in the matrix with another well-formed one just emerging on the reverse. Only about five species of minerals come from the Roccamonfina Volcanic Complex in Italy including this opaque white silicate.
