This mound of small, yellow-orange orpiment crystals has spaces between the orpiment that hold many superb hutchinsonite crystals. The hutchinsonites show excellent, complexly terminated crystals. They are lustrous and well formed terminated prisms, often in divergent groups. The orpiment is in sort of rounded groups of crystals, the outermost ones, abraded. Orpiment is extremely soft. Still, there are many great crystals to view and, if you like, photograph.
