Here are a few pictures to show you the environment that these specimens come from -old room and pillar mines in sediments, near Mibladen. Most of these specimens are excavated from pillars and old stope walls by artisanal miners. You can see barite and galena mineralization in the photo's. Also me chiseling away trying to collect some, when I visited Mibladen several years ago. I have to hand it to the miners, it is hard work!
