This piece is a high-grade quartz/gold specimen sawn on both sides. The qhartz is largely white but it has a fine grained black mineral dispersed through some of it giving it a grey colour. The gold is fairly coarse and is evenly distributed throughout the slab in grains less than 2mm in diameter. Suprising piece!
