This specimen of gold shows a flame-like plume of gold protruding up out of a matrix of smoky-ish quartz and gold. Don't know the exact locality but I'm pretty sure it comes from one of the deposits in the Red Lake area. Dead ringer! Looks great and is a very nice specimen from that area.
