Dolomite often occurs in, curved "saddle shaped" crystals. Here is an exemplary example of that form. This highly curved crystal shows a very exaggerated curved rhombohedral form and is nicely perched on bladed, pyrite pseudomorphs after marcasite. As well, the dolomite crystal is speckled with small marcasite crystals. Very interesting piece from the long-closed Nanisivik Mine!
