This specimen shows two corundum crystals at almost 90 degrees to each other, with a phlogopite crystal between them. Behind the phlogopite are to smaller corundum crystals that enable the specimen to sit perfectly for display! Hard to believe that this was "high grade" ore for what was once the larges corundum mine in the British Commonwealth many years ago!
