A thick, tapered, brown corundum crystal is exposed in the front of a fine grained, feldspar matrix. The feldspar is spiked with many small crystals and fragments of corundum thoughout. The main crystal is horizontally striated with good luster. The termination is not complete but, still the specimen shows well.
