This is a stunning example of this type of mineralization from the Keweenaw Peninsula! The top of this piece is covered with lustrous calcite crystals, all enclosing pristine copper. The copper crystals, clearly visible, give the calcite the pinkish colour. They would otherwise be colourless! This is a museum-quality specimen. Displays perfectly!
