This dog-toothed calcite is a specimen from a historical German locality. Held up to the light one can see a red hematite included zone. The tip of the crystal is a little chipped but a nice example from the very, old locality. The calcite crystal has formed in a large quartz-lined amygdule in basalt. Nice!
