A characteristic calcite crystal in one of the "styles" that calcite occurs in at the Faraday/Madawaska Mine. That is the gemmy-clear scalenohedron with a flat, pinacoidal termination and a dark outer veneer of, probably, an iron oxide. This crystal has another modifying face just below the pinacoid. Very nice! s
