A couple of tapered beryl crystals are well exposed in this pegmatitic matrix of orange feldspar, magnetite and smoky quartz. This is an older specimen and the beryl crystals are a lighter blue-green than I have seen from the pegmatite in more recent years. Still opaque but with good shape. Impressive, good looking piece!
