An hexagonal prism of dark green beryl protrudes up out of a matrix of orangey feldspar. The beryl crystal actually goes strait down through the feldspar and the hexagonal cross section of the beryl crystal is observable on the bottom of the piece since it traverses completely through the feldspar. Nice!
