A thick blanket of malachite almost completely coats the crystals on this baryte specimen from Sidi Ayat, Aouli, Morocco. Some traces of azurite can be seen mixed in on top of the baryte blades. As well, the specimen feels extra heavy in hand due to a vein of galena that runs through the sample. A nice association piece that looks great! DDJ
