This specimen of rare, titanium-rich augite from the classic locality of Limburg, near Freiburg, has many well formed, lustrous crystals. The crystals are are flat, prismatic, well lustered and embedded in limburgite, the characteristic rock of the area. Old label accompanies the specimen.
