A seam running through the center of this basalt matrix reveals a chabazite-lined opening stuffed with very light greenish apophyllite crystals. The chabazite crystals show the classic pseudo-rhombohedral shape and the apophyllite crystals show nicely striated, block tabular habit with truncated corners. Very nice example of this less common zeolite-associated mineral!
