Here is a nice pink zircon on white nepheline with black biotite from the CN rock dump in Bancroft. The dump is actually composed of rock from the Golding-Keene Quarry, near Bancroft. An excellent example of the thorium and uranium bearing zircons (var. cyrtolite) from Bancroft. These reddish-brown crystals glow yellow under the UV.
