Zeolites, Bay of Fundy, Nova Scotia, Heulandite
Another zeolite that occurs in the Bay of Fundy area is Heulandite. It occurs often with a number of the othe rzeolites. Here are some very nice examples.

- This little plate of orangey heulandite crystals is sprinkled with small crystals of laumontite. Usually, laumontite decrepitates away. I think these crystals have held together well, since they are so small.

- A superb example of this combination. It shows sharp, spiky heulandite crystals wit ha light brown colouration combined with glassy, sharp analcime crystals. Both of these minerals on crystals of "sinter" quartx. Very nice!
