  • An impressive, sharp, looking specimen! In this piece, the matrix is a large amphibole crystal with a couple of sharp, lustrous, wedge-shaped titanite crystals perched on the front of it. Needs a little help to stand to display properly and very nice when propped up correctly. Beautiful!

  • A well formed, sharp, dark-brown titanite crystal perfectly mounted(by nature) on this cluster of rounded, bizarre, microcline crystals. This piece, naturally, weathered out of calcite. There is a little bit broken out of the upper left corner of the titanite crystal but, still, is an excellent specimen that displays very well.

  • This looks like a number of crystals in the notch between the microcline and amphibole crystals but it is actually an unusual formation of stacked, parallel growth titanite crystals. Lustrous and dark brown. Interesting and different!

  • Here is a different one! This cluster features a very blocky, titanite crystal wedged between two microcline crystals. The titanite crystal has a weird notch, like it is twinned, but is not a twin law that I am familiar with. I took a second picture that did not turn out. I can send on along, if you with. Very cool!

  • A sharp, 15mm titanite crystal is situated at the top of this cluster of distorted microcline crystals. The crystal is sharp and is dominated by the odd, extra form/face that we see on crystals from this location.
