  • This is an interesting elbaite crystal showing a vertically striated crystal, with triangular cross section and a feathered termination. Nice deep green colour. The feathered termination is intergrown with lepidolite mica. Handsome!

  • A very gemmy, green elbaite crystal. The crystal is three sided with light stria on the prism faces and has a flat, slightly modified termination. The crystal has strong zoning showing a deeper green-black at the base and also at the termination. There is a zone close to the top that exhibits fine fracturing. Other than that, the crystal is a very gemmy, lighter green.

  • Two very light pinkish elbaite crystals wit ha greenish zone at the upper termination and very blue zone at the bottom termination. Yes, both crystals are doubly terminated and "hemimorphic". That is the terminations are very different at each end with perfectly flat, pinacoidal terminations at the base and a steep pyramidal termination on the top terminations. Nice specimen!

  • A very nice, pink elbaite crystal with a perfectly flat, pinacoidal termination. Slight terminal modifications around the pinacoid. Excellent lustre with strong vertical striations. Very nice that it has a small, green elbaite crystal attached to its base. How does that happen?! Glad it did. Very nice specimen.
