- This is one big, complex crystal of sphalerite, typical of the sphalerite from the Elmwood Mine. The faces are very lustrous and, together with the complexity, makes it very difficult to obtain a flattering photograph. One single, deep purple fluorite cube is attached, as well. - A super-sharp, highly lustrous andorite crystal is exposed in an opening in this mostly cassiterite matrix. The andorite is nicely terminated. The cassiterite matrix is interesting in that it is sort of "honey-combed" and composed of thousands of tiny, almost acicular cassiterite crystals with a few tiny pyrite crystals. Very nice andorite specimen!
