Topaz, Sakangyi Pegmatites, Mogok, Pwin-Oo-Lwin, Mandalay, Myanmar

I am fortunate to have obtained a number of nice topaz crystals from this unusual locality. All are very gemmy, although it is difficult to impart this in the photo's. Nice faces. A good opportunity to purchase a nice topaz crystal!

  • This crystal has a full, sharp termination and partial bottom termination since it was attached at the bottom. It does have a slightly greenish hue and so is a light "amazonite" variety crystal. As well, there are some excellent, gemmy, topaz crystals attached to one side. four of the five topaz crystals are terminated. Sits perfectly.

  • A cluster of "amazonite" crystals from this prolific pegmatite area. There is a broken crystal in the middle of the specimen, as you can see but it is nonetheless an interesting an nice specimen from this interesting pegmatite mining area.
