Mont Saint-Hilaire, Monazite, Anatase

Monazite occurs in excellent micro crystals at MSH. The crystals in this particular find are yellow, bladed crystals, often in divergent groups. The main interesting associated mineral is anatase in very sharp, black crystals. Please note that, in the photo's, the crystals sometimes appear to be an orangey colour but, in reality, they are much more gemmy yellow.

  • Lots of very nice, gemmy, yellow monazite crystals are scattered about this white contrasting matrix, associated with lots of very sharp anatase crystals. The best one. Excellent!
