  • The top of this plate is covered with fluorapatite crystals, some larger , up to 4mm or so and many are tiny. The larger crystals seem to be sort of curved habit of an older generation while the smaller crystals are sharp hexagonal prisms of a newer growth. A slight mauve tinge to the bigger crystals.

  • Lots of pseudo-cubic crystals of whitish goyazite speckled about on a plate of brown scalenohedral siderite crystals. The steep rhomb of the goyazite makes it look sort of like a cube! One of the less common minerals at Rapid Creek.
