Tsumeb has produced awesome cerussite specimen. Everyone can recognizes the characteristic reticulated and twinned crystals. Here are some very nice examples.

  • A gemmy, terminated, partially twinned cerussite crystal on relict silica matrix. The crystal is nice but there is some bruising. A couple of greyish wulfenite crystals are also present but they are damaged. Looks good!

  • This is really one, complexly, twinned crystal that shows loads of sharp faces on one side. The other side is mostly the contact area with only partial faces. Looks great and is a very good example of this secondary lead mineral!

  • A pure white, perhaps with a slightly irony tint, of bladed sharp cerussite crystals. Not sure why they are white but they are! There is one tiny chipped spot on the side that shows that the crystals are, in fact, gemmy inside and the white coating is a white veneer. Great looking!
