  • This is an interesting specimen showing a couple of bladed crystals formed on a quartz crystal coating of a very large calcite crystal. Different!

  • Here is something thatwe don't see very often! At firstglance, this specien is a vug of quartz crystals, overlain with sharp 3mm or so calcite crystals. What is extra cool however, is that the cavity is actually the interior of a hollow quartz pseudomorph after calcite. A sharp one totally revealed on the "bottom" of the specimen! Super piece from an old classic locality.

  • This cluster of calcite crystals has a thin coating of white quartz crystals with some corroded calcite crystals overgrown on the quartz. Interesting piece from an unusual locality.

  • A handsome specimen that is a large plate of botryoidal/drusy quartz crystals wit ha partial coating of what appears to be two generations of calcite. One is a golden coloured scalenohedral calcite and the other white rhombs which could also be dolomite, I suppose. Some pyrite sprinkled around here and there. Looks like an old-time specimen from an old-time mine!
