This is an interesting fossil, rock or mineral specimen, depending on your perspective. The matrix is a sort of limestone STUFFED with small clam shells, called "coquina". The interesting thing is that each clamshell is a hollow geode lined with small calcite crystals and, usually, one or two larger, well formed, twinned calcite crystals. Sometimes some small baryte and/ore pyrite crystals. Interesting!
