Here is a locality that we don't hear from very often! This is a well-formed, terminated, gemmy, topaz crystal from Alaska! There are a number of greisen veins that have been mined/explored for cassiterite, mostly, in the vicinity of Wales, AK. Topaz is a common constituent of greisen veins and we have to assume that this topaz crystal came from one of those veins. Very cool Americana! s
