A large piece of native bismuth from one of the most famous localities in the world for this mineral. It is mostly native bismuth with a little quartz embedded in it. The quartz fragments are actually piece of quartz crystal with the rest of the exterior marked by the impressions of other quartz crystals that were once in contact with it. In other words the quartz crystals formed and the bismuth crystallized in between and on the quartz crystals. R
