Pyroxene, MarialitePyroxene, Marialite

Item number: 21789

A hodge-podge of deep green pyroxene crystals make up this specimen and one side is covered with, mostly, terminated crystals, including one doubly terminated 27mm crystal. The white is scapolite, mostly likley marialite. These crystals were formed in calcite but the calcite has been etched away, either naturally, or by a previous owner. Smart-looking pyroxene group mineral!
